This is the very reason why it is significant that you offer a variety of opportunities for sensory exploration and discovery and to stimulate his senses for his optimal learning. Providing him with a rich learning and playing environment is the key in boosting his senses. By giving him toys and activities that will refine his senses, you’re helping him learn about the world around him better.  

Toys that cater not only to one but to a multiple senses are good learning tools that will aid in his proper development. Wooden toys like wooden trains are excellent examples of such toys.

For one, wooden train sets are effective enhancers of his visual perception. By allowing him to explore different play pieces of different shapes, colors and sizes, your kid’s visual discrimination is enhanced. By letting him watch his wooden train zoom by, his visual tracking is honed.
