Buy toy or storage boxes for your kid’s wooden toy train sets. Choose from either wooden or plastic boxes. Don’t leaven train tracks, trains, and other accessories scattered to avoid losing them. As with your children’s other toys, strive to keep them in one place for easier retrieval.

Wipe each piece of the regularly. Use damp cloth and air dry. If dirt has started to stick on the toy, clean by using mild soap and water.

Tell your kids not to throw the pieces so as not to destroy them.

Because kids can easily get bored with toys, you may help them think of new ways to play with the
so they get something new from the toy. Kids need variety and it doesn’t have to be the toys but only on how you play with the toys. They may run out of ideas but with your ideas, you can help your child discover his creativity or stretch his imagination.

Always check if the toy train is in working condition. Are the hinges and screws still in place? Are there any cracks on the wood? Or are the pieces still glued together?

Check if the pieces are complete. Just one piece missing from the wooden toy train set can make a difference with playtime.
